Social Security Pensions
The Social Security Pensions provided by the Government of Kerala are financial assistance schemes intended for economically disadvantaged elderly persons, widows, persons with disabilities, agricultural labourers, unmarried women above the age of 50, and other eligible categories. These pensions provide monthly financial support to beneficiaries, helping them meet their basic living expenses.
Eligible beneficiaries must submit their pension applications at their respective Grama Panchayat Offices.
The current pension amount for the major Social Security Pension schemes is ₹2,000 per month.
